Heat recovery from refrigeration

A Peterborough company is the UK supplier of the first commercially manufactured heat recovery product in Europe which utilises the waste heat from refrigeration plant to generate free low grade and potable hot water.

The system utilises the otherwise wasted refrigeration condenser heat to generate hot water at 50 - 60°C . Hot water is available within a few minutes of plant start-up. Virtually 100 % of the available waste heat is recovered.

The potable water is heated to a high temperature and is pasteurised at the same time. Plant room temperatures are lowered and compressor run-time is reduced.
